Types of carbon black we supply

Semi-reinforcing (soft) blacks: N550, N660, N774
Smooth extrusion, low heat build-up and high loadings for hoses, profiles, cable jackets and moulded goods. Grades include Carbon Black N550, Carbon Black N660, Carbon Black N774, Carbon Black RG223, CARBON BLACK RG535K.
Thermal and specialty blacks
N990 and specialty grades for soft seals, FKM compounds and applications needing minimal reinforcement. Grades include Carbon Black JETEX 125, Carbon Black N990, AUSTIN BLACK -325.

Which carbon black grade should I use?
As a rule of thumb, N2xx/N3xx grades give high reinforcement and abrasion resistance (treads, conveyor covers), while N5xx–N7xx grades give easier processing and lower hysteresis (carcass, hoses, extrusions, moulded goods). Share your application and we will suggest grades to trial.
