Precipitated silica
Reinforcement for light-coloured compounds and, with silane, low rolling resistance and wet grip in tyre treads. Grades include PPT SILICA ULTRASIL VN3, PPT SILICA UNISIL NK-3SD, PPT SILICA UNISIL NK-3SD-R, Precipitated Silica Mansil 175, PRECIPITATED SILICA NK3, PRECIPITATED SILICA NK-4HS, PRECIPITATED SILICA NK5.
Mineral fillers
Calcium carbonates, clays, silicates and other fillers that set compound cost, hardness and processing. Grades include Aluminium Silicate, Calcium Carbonate ACC, CALCIUM SILICATE, COATED GROUND CALCIUM CARBONATE MSJ 2 C, EBONITE DUST, GRAPHITE POWDER, LIME POWDER, Lime Stone Powder and 5 more.
Flame retardants
Aluminium trihydrate and similar fillers for flame-retardant, low-smoke compounds such as cables. Grades include ALUMINIUM TRIHYDRATE, Zinc Borate.
Pigments
Colouring pigments for coloured rubber and plastics. Grades include Titanium Di Oxide Rutile, Titanium Di Oxide Anatase.

Frequently asked questions
Why use precipitated silica instead of carbon black?
Silica gives reinforcement in non-black compounds and, with a silane coupling agent, lower rolling resistance and better wet grip in tyre treads.
Which filler is best for reducing compound cost?
Calcium carbonate and clays are the usual cost-reducing fillers; the right loading depends on the properties you need to keep.
Do you supply silane for silica compounds?
Yes. Silane coupling agents such as Si-69 are listed on our rubber chemicals page.
